RV-8 Trim Tab Horn

I am concerned about how close the Inboard Trim Tab horn top mounting hole is to the next skin attach point on the Trim Tab Spar. I plan to drill holes to use blind rivets. Any ideas?

I'm building a 7, but mine looks about the same. You'll only need to use blind rivets to attach the horns aft of the trim tab spar. You can squeeze all the flush rivets along the spar with a longeron squeezer yoke.

It wasn't easy to do with a bucking bar, but I managed to do it. Had a couple of dents on the top when I was done, but the mission was accomplished. That elevator and trim tab was traded to another guy for parts and it is flying now. I've since bought some other yokes for my squeezer and I'm sure I can get it done without the dents when I build my replacement.
