RV-7A Main Wheel/Brake combo weight

Searched & searched, but no joy...

I'm looking for the weight of the stock main wheel & brake setup... considering purchasing the Grove wheels/brakes and deleting the Matcos from the finishing kit (if that's the kit they come in).

I like the extra braking capability of the Grove setup. They recommend the P/N 56-213 kit for the RV-7A. It weighs 6.8lbs for a single Wheel, Disk & Caliper combo. This must be without the tube & tire.

Anyone have a Matco setup handy to weigh?

Not sure of the weight difference but I did the same upgrade and am very happy with it. You'll add a few more pounds if you use better tires too (I use Goodyear FLt customs). I also used their master cylinders.
