I was needing the dimensions of the installed horizontal tail. I have purchased an RV-6 and need to load it on a trailer and require those specs.

The H.S. is 8'11" wide with the tips installed.

It will not fit inside a normal trailer installed.

If you put the Fuselage and installed tail on a open flatbed trailer you will might be ok.

Or Take it off piece by piece and bubble wrap the heck out of it.

if you remove the horizontal stabilizer and rudder (about 2 hours work) you should have no trouble at all transporting it home. i did mine on my own fairly easily having not seen one before and transported it in a container back to the uk.
