RV-6 FWF Kit from Vans

Just a heads up for RV-6/6A builders. As part of the FWF kits Vans sells, they have "FF-6/6A ADDITIONS" for $60. The additions are the RV-7 center tunnel cover and heater baffle plus the RV-7/9 drawings for plumbing routing.

If you have a newer fuselage kit these parts were already included in the fuselage kit. If you are far enough along to buy the FWF kit, you have probably already found a solution for the fuel/ventline routing. If you have an older kit, this would be ideal to order if you want the RV-7 tunnel and plumbing layout, but I would buy it while working on the fuselage before you mount the engine.

Just wanted to to you a heads up so you don't have to ship that bulky tunnel cover back to Vans.

Another thing to consider: the tunnel cover is a great item but if you don't have the correct spacing on the floor stiffeners, it won't fit.

The best time to get these parts is before you install the floor stiffeners, since we -6/-6A builders don't get the benefit of factory-drilled holes.
