RV-3: Engine Transducer Manifold

Here are a couple of quick pictures of the finished transducer manifold on the RV-3 project. It is a standard Van?s manifold with a 3/16? spacer between it and the firewall to allow a little space for maintenance and the oil pressure switch. As is typical, the three ports are used for oil pressure, fuel pressure, and manifold pressure (left to right in the photos). Our Garmin G3X came with wonderfully compact Kavlico transducers that have actual automotive-type connectors ? very up-scale! The oil pressure switch is standard General motors and drives and LED on the panel. The hose coming up out of the manifold pressure chamber goes to an inline ?T? and then to the two P-Mags. Fire retardant ?snakeskin? makes the harness look pretty. There is still a little ?tidying up? to do?
