RV-12 Finished Costs

Any RV-12's that were recently completed ... can you give me a total cost to build?

I am starting to look and hope that Van's will be at the Sebring LSA show.

$70K plus

I dont have one finished but I asked the same question and initially created a budget of about $65K that is now closer to $70,000 to get one flying here in Texas. That includes the optional kits; lights, interior, wheel pants, paint, etc.
Am curious what the builders who finished have to say.

Mitch will be in Sebring with his RV12. Hopefully the weather will play nicely enough for him to make it. If I recall right a couple of other Vans folks flew in too.

I only have the engine and paint to do and am into the project for roughly 40K. Includes A/P and lights. I am thinking 75K for a total. Add %3 after 2-1-12.

With lights, AP, Two displays, RV12 specialty tools, and paint I wi;; be at abput 81K.

Downunder, because of the freight, and the GST....if you paint it yourself....the base aircraft will cost about AUD$85K. It was much more expensive prior to the dollar parity!!
