rv-12: Cowling Trimming

Tonight, besided finding a flat tire (See "Status of RV-12, Page #24 for details) I noticed the large opening under the spinner hole needs to be trimmed. Did I miss something? I looked in the instructions a couple of time, but did not see anything about trimming the large cooling hole. There is a scribe line on it, so it needs to be trimmed, but I cannot find it in the instructions.

Anyone else?

My guess

I think they have us attach an air duct to it, so I'm sure there will be something in the engine Kit. The pictures I've seen seem to indicate that.
