RV-12 Airfoil

I don't think so. I think it's a special airfoil like on the RV-9 or -10.

Sure flies nicely!

Dave

I know for a fact that it is.
The first prototype had a different airfoil not previously used on RV's.
The airplane didn't quite meet the stall speed requirement.

While making design changes that were incorporated into prototype # 2, the airfoil was changed to the tried and true NACA23000.

To put a slightly finer point on it, I believe the following is accurate:

23014

Same family as the DC3, T-34, Bonanza, and Cessna 310.

The last two digits reflect thickness as a percentage of chord.
