When it comes to reference designs, the Aero Electric manual is the gold standard.

Van's wiring kit instructions
Van's wiring kit comes with "OP-37" for a manual. About 20 pages, tells all the little secret parts/numbers needed. You should be able to order it separately from Van's...good luck and have fun!!!

Just starting to consider the electrical components going in and wondering if anyone has a good idea where to find a sample wiring diagram to get us started. Thanks Ineke
I would also recommend taking a look at Vertical Power's VP-X or VP-200. They have sample schematics on their web site.
I'm implementing a VP-200 with dual alternators and batteries in my RV-10.
