RV-10 Flight Control Balance After Painting

For the folks that painted their machine after the initial flying, did you have to go through and balance the flight controls or did you merely just replace the controls and go about flying again?

I never did balance them prior to paint. (didn't fly until painted) After paint they gained a little overall weight but the balance was within the limits. I don't ever recall anyone needing to add or remove weight from the control surfaces for the -10 either painted or bare.
