I wanted to toss this out for some feedback. I installed electric rudder trim on my -10, I use about 1/2 to 3/4 of the right trim throw on any given flight. I have yet to use any left trim My training habits always makes me center the trim for take off (as I do for roll and pitch) which is no big deal because my feet are working the pedals on the take off roll and through the climb to pattern altitude where I level off to depart the airspace and start trimming the aircraft.
Here's the question. Would you put a rudder wedge on the aircraft so the trim tab could be centered most of the time, only using the electric trim to adjust for crosswinds during cruise or long climbouts and decents?
