Rudder Rod End Bearings

I'm in the process of finishing the rudder and the plans call for some specific dimensions to the center of the three rod end bearings. They measure it from "the web of the rear spar". It appears that they are talking about the foward side of the web vs. the aft side. Is that correct, or am I being to particular in trying to get these dimensions exact?

yes, forward end of the web.. it'd be really tough to measure from rear once leading edges are folded.

Those measurements are just a starting point. You'll likely need to adjust them slightly once you fit the empennage together with the fuselage.

Dittos on what Dave said. Those dimensions are abritrary and will most likely be adjusted to get the final fit and alignment of the rudder.
