This might be a 2 stroke penalty for not searching this site for a similar post, but nevertheless, I'm sharing my solution to, what could be a common issue. The clevis/bolt/nut on my left rudder cable can get caught on a flange of the gear weldment if it goes slack. Not good!
Several friends have suggested adding the idler arms from the rear rudder pedal kit...which seemed like work. Instead I practiced some arthroscopic surgery by installing the bolt inside a "wiffle ball".
I haven't flown with them yet, but they seem to solve the problem.
