Rudder bottom cap interference?

I know this has been discussed before, but nothing relavent turned up in a search...

Does anyone have any pics (or an accurate measurement) of how much is trimmed off the bottom rudder cap to eliminate tailspring interference?

Thanks again Bill! I'll follow suit...forgot that it attaches on the outside of the rudder. That's the simple, easy way to go at it...

I have the internal rudder stop from Jeff as well, so it's good to see that trimming the cap in this fashion will work with the stop.

Happy to help.

BTW, mine are riveted on and will not be glassed in. All that is an effort to keep the airplane as light as I can.

I hear that! I'm in the same boat...my 320/7, and your 290/9 probably have similar tail weights I would guess.
