routing trim wire

As you route the trim wire through the tail you go through the J sections, is anyone doing anything additional to protect the wire ?

I didn't do anything extra, Julian. Make sure you leave some slack in case you ever have to make another connection.

Use plenty of tie wraps...so wire can't move. You will be fine.

1/4" OD Polypropylene tubing

I Used 1/4" OD Polypropylene tubing for raceway, this will allow easy replacement if necessary. Extra tie wrap installed.

I slipped a short length of vinyl tubing over the wire and wire tied it at the end of J channel. Now the trim cable is protected at the bend from digging into the edge of the aluminum J channel.
