riveting question

Searched here but couldn't find the answer. When riveting 2 different thicknesses of materials together does it matter which side gets the manufactured head. I thought I read somewhere that the manufactured head should go on the thinner piece. Is that right?

Whichever side will make it easier to drill out when you make a mistake...

Yup, I believe it's in section 5. Manufactured head goes on thin side whenever possible.
