Riveting HS-707 Nose Rib

Patch

Member
Does anyone out there have pictures of rivetting the forward most rivet on the bottom side of the HS-707 nose rib. I have a 1x5/8x4 tungsten bar, but getting the hand in there looks intimidating.

I have done a search, but could not find anything.

Any images or descriptions would be appreciated,

Scott

Nanji,

Thank you for the offer of help. At this stage I am just looking for advice. If I can't get er done I will be very greatful for help.

Same goes the other way. I would be able to help you if you need an assist.

Thanks again,

Scott

On my -10 HS, I bucked nose ribs without too much problem. I put a towel behind the bucking bar to keep it from bouncing into the skin on the other side. Mostly guiding the bar laterally with my hand (not pressing it into the rivet tail, which is not the best technique anyway) and shooting in short bursts, I got good results.

i stood the skin up on the floor and did it from above, way easier than flat on the bench
