rivet question

Anyone have trouble riveting the HS 413 hinge bracket to the rear spar. I did the reinforcing bar, 6/16, and the 412 hinge bracket, 7/16, but when I tried the HS 413, 5/16 the rivets bent over as if too long. I double checked everything, and just wondered if anyone experience a similar problem

Happened to me ... several times. Make sure your squeezer is dead square on he rivets. Take care drilling them out lest you enlarge the hole.

Are you bucking or squeezing? I bucked everything and didn't have a single problem with rivet lengths. Actually, I wish some had been a bit longer. Some just look like they could have some more there to buck.
