Rivet All Skins before Canopy Fitting

I will be fitting the Plexi canopy in the next week or so. Is there any reason not to rivet down the mid, top skin before fitting? Or should I leave the clecos until I make the big cut and have to fit the rear canopy?

I almost always keep it in Clecos until I have to put the rivets in....
