Right screw size

I want to verify what screw goes into the nut plates (k1000-8) on the aft bulkhead (F-1006A) to secure the cover (F1006F and F1006E). I purchased the airplane and I’m trying to catch up. Thanks very much!

#8 1/2" screws are what Vans supplies, AN515-8R8 (MS35206-245). Some people don't like them because they have a tendency to strip after a few uses, and use hex head cap screws. Your mileage may vary.

I use AN525-8R8 which ave a washer under the head and seat a little nicer IMHO.
