RG-400 cable? Not?

I got a spool of what I thought was RG-400 coax. Looks the same, is double shielded, stranded center wire, all looks good.

EXCEPT

The center wire is bigger than my other RG400

The connector fits fine except for the center pin.

and my connectors center pin is too small. The wire is too large.

The wire says:

B W65 OG 12814

OK, what gives?

My guess is that it is not for use on a BNC/TNC connector. Maybe for an N connector which is physically bigger.
