Revision nomenclature

I did searches on this and couldn't find the answer. I'm trying to understand why a revision number can stay the same but have different dates. For example, in my hard copy build manual, page 18-05 is designated revision 0 and has a date of 4/08. On the on-line revisions page, page 18-05 is still called revision 0 but has a date of 01/02/14. Carefully examining the two pages, I see no differences. Why change the date if nothing changed on the page?

Thanks.

There is probably a minor change that you missed, which could have been as simple as a spelling error, which didn't warrant a revision change, just a date change. No cause for concern........Tom
