Retrofit Flap Motor

We are partially through our build that came with the old ES-85615-10 Flap Motor. We are working through Section 40 and saw that the flap motor has been changed to one with an integral positioning sensor (ES-FA-PA-450-12-5). We would like to order the retrofit kit for the new flap motor. Has anyone else done this? The revised plan set shows changes back to a part, F-1016D. To replace that part, we would have to drill out the seat pans, which we do not want to do. Do you really have to go back that far into the build to make this modification/retrofit?

Update: I found the retrofit plans that show an easier way to do this.

To answer your question.... I used the retrofit kit from VANS, which did not require anything with/underneath the seat pans.

It was a rather simple and straightforward retrofit:
