Repair of boarding step

I would like to see pictures and details of repairs made to the boarding step by RV-12 owners.

Just saw your post, probably already got it fixed. My passenger side cracked on the bottom. Noticed it when I saw a rust spot on the hanger floor. I took the step off and formed a flat piece of sheet metal to fit the bottom curve of the step. Cut a v out each side where the step angles. Welded along each side and painted. Also drilled a small hole in the bottom of each step so that any moisture could drain out. No pictures, but hope it helps. Has been a couple years and 150 hours since.
