Remote playback feature

Am wiring things up and was wondering if anybody has experience with the remote playback feature of the PMA 8000B or 9000EX (or any others with that feature)? Don't know which one I'm getting yet, but am wondering if I should plan on using this feature? Is it practical, or just something neat that nobody uses? Thanks. Dave

We have an 8000B, but never, ever use the playback feature. It just doesn't seem very useful to me in flight.

I've got the playback on the 8000B wired to my hat switch. I don't have aileron trim so the left/right actions on the switch were available.

I've only used it once or twice by intent but I've hit it accidentally quite a few times. It like deja vu' all over again when done by accident.
