Rear seat rudder pedal install

Can someone clarify something for me WRT the installation on the F-8117 guide bracket.
OP-5 has an MS21051-L08 nut plate installed in the F-804A2 centre section (section 6F of OP5)
However the drilled holes in F-802 which we use as a drill guide match a K1000-8 nutplate as seen in OP-5A which is for the RV-8A. And not the MS21051 as called out in OP-5. What concerns my is that the different nut pat changes the location of the #19 hole, so it’s not something I can undo easily if it’s wrong.
Have people used a K1000-8 nut plate here and OP-5 just hasn’t been updated, or is there something else wrong?
Have asked Vans but I think they might be a bit busy!

The pic on the left is OP-5A on the right is OP-5.

I have OP-5 instructions and don’t remember issues. Post pic of your center section. But I’d say whatever you got parts for with instructions, follow them unless your comfort level is high enough to make it work another way.

That's how my centre section looked too. But on the underneath there were 3 holes to use as a drill guide for installing the nut plate. Circled in red. Now using these 3 holes it means the nut plate called out in OP5 doesn't align correctly (right picture), but the nut plate called out in OP5A does (bottom Picture)

As I see it, it doesn't make much difference, The will both hold the F-8117 bracket, it just means the screw hole will be in slightly different position.

I do remember it being a bit off but it worked out. I figure OP-5A is for -8A in all instructions so I used op-5. If I remember correct no holes are drilled in the bracket. So you essentially make it either way. But I’m not sure if there’s room for for 2 k1000-8 in that small area in the orientation they’re at. I think the -8A might have more room for the k1000-8 nut plates underneath.
I just remember it was a little more of a challenge than I thought it ought to be for a nut plate. The pic is off to the side a bit.

The brace with red arrow is -8 specific and gets in the way of 2 k1000-8 nut plates in that area like the -8A has.
I don’t see that you have that brace cleco’d in place. Do that and then try a k1000-8 in the spot and I bet it doesn’t fit.
Took awhile to remember the issue. Too much time away from build due to lcp issue.
