Rear Seat Belts

I am just starting on the mid-fuselage bulkheads and was wondering about the crotch strap attachment for the rear seat belt. Surely that's only needed in aerobatic aircraft? - especially as the front seat is only a 4-point harness.

Am I missing something? Do people put in a 4 or 5 point harness in the rear?

There was a discussion on this issue over at Matronics and the consenus IIRC was that most were going with a 4 point harness and either not installing the crotch strap lugs on SBs or removing it on QBs. I'm not at that point yet, but my plan is to not install the lugs and go with a 4-point harness.
