Rear center baffle bracket

Anyone came up with way to mount this bracket so that it stays straight? Plans put the rear end on the outside of the rear engine hoist bracket and the other end against crank case. I just don't like the out of line mount arrangement.

Remove the engine hoisting bracket...... It is just excess weight anyway.
Put it in the special tools drawer of you tool box and reinstall if you ever need to lift the engine.
