I was working on my longerons, and finished up and they look pretty good. The next step is to cut the J channel to length. I'm looking around, the only J channel I got in my kit is 6' long. They are supposed to be 8' long. That's what I get for missing that in the inventory. I can't find any 6' J channel on my inventory list, so I'm guessing the guy/gal who cut them missed the number.

Is there supposed to be any 6' J channel anywhere?
I guess it's time to call Vans and try to get some more, though it is past the 30 days by about 30 days

I think the top J channels that fit under the top skins are six foot or less...can't remember without looking how long the side one's are...

I did call Van's today, and it appears that some of the fuse kits got out the door with the short (6') lengths. They promised to send me 4 new ones for the longer ones. I can use 2 as is.

Chappy, I recall someone else having this problem in the past, as well.

It seems that the problem was somewhat widespread.
