I have a leak after 150 hours in my radiator on my RV-12 is.
Van's doesn't have any radiators in stock for the RV-12is.
Back order time is September.
Has anyone had any success with having one repaired?
Does anyone have a NEW one that they would sell at a "Premium"?
Thanks,
Bill

There have been a couple owners who have performed successful repairs. Is it on the lowest row of fins?

Enzo tells how to do it in Post #59. CessnaTPA also followed this method with success.

I have completed my repair as per Enzo's recommendations.
I have put 2 hours on it with no issues.
I will keep you updated as I increase my time.
Thank you to all that helped me.

I'm curious did you have any rough starts? And be sure to verify you have at least a 1/2" clearance between the cowl and radiator.

Yes, I have had 2 self-inflicted rough starts.
I have completed the Service Bulletin and have the required clearance.
There was NO signs of chafing on the radiator.
Thank you,
Bill
