Hi Alton,
Yes, ours dumps to the left. Our cable comes at the heatbox from the pilot's side but it needed a "standoff" since the arm is about an inch from the firewall. We made one from a piece of aluminum tubing and a 3/16" bolt throught that and the firewall and an adel clamp to hold the cable housing. Sorry, I don't have pictures.

One more question, did you let the dump just exit to the left or did you put a short piece of scat on it to turn it down? I am in the process of placing things on the firewall before bolting up the engine mount.

Hi Alton,
It just dumps into the lower cowl area with no scat on it. I figured the exhaust air from it just joins up with all the other hot air we leave behind... :D
