Question about countersinking the main spar

I countersunk the access plate holes on one section of the main spar. The outer part of the countersunk hole almost touches the edge of the spar. Is this normal? Seems too close. I used a #30 drill, # 30 countersink bit and a #6 dimple die. I made a template with numerous #6 and #8 dimples so I could gauge the depth of the holes. The dimpled holes of the template fit well. Does anyone have pictures of their access plate holes?
