Quadrant cables

We've installed a throttle quadrant along with the Aerosport panel and center console. We are now required to order a longer mixture cable. I think I read on one of the forums that people are already having to replace some of these cables as they are not top quality? Actually they have been tagged not for aircraft use.
What, and where would we find a quality replacement cable? Our required length is about 53.5". Or should we just try Van's for a longer length?

Ron,

You can get them through Aircraft Spruce in Canada. Just be prepared for the sticker shock.

You can get them from Van's too, but I don't think they have everything listed on the web site.

I can't speak to the quality issue, since I haven't order a set yet.
