Purging the 912 Oil System

Quite an involved process. Brad S. sent me this link and I thought I would post it on the forum. A very nice instructional 10 minute video.

That is an involved process!

This purging process must be fairly new. I just don't remember having to do any of that. We would add oil, pull the plugs, spin the motor with the starter to build oil pressure, replace the plugs and turn the prop by hand gurgle the oil can to check the level, then fire it up and watch the oil pressure and temps and let her run for 5 mins.
