We have the standard Van's wing tip landing/taxi lights. One in each wing. We would like to have them switched seperatly so one can be designated landing and the other taxi. With this configuration can the be wired to pulsing?

Check "aeroelectric connection:

Yes.

You need the correct switch setup.

Aerolectric Bob has a circuit diagram of this in his book.
 
If you wire as per the...

...AeroElectric Connection, and you get the Wig-Wag Flasher that B&C has, then:

Using three separate switches...

The Taxi Light can be switched on or off

The Landing Light can be switched on or off

The wig-wag function can be switched on or off. Note however that the wig-wag function is independent of the position of the landing or taxi light switch position, and takes precedence.

I suppose you could do all of these functions in one or two progressive toggle switch, but I chose to have three separate switches.

There are 3 different configurations for switching the lights in the pdf I linked above.

Should be an option that is workable in there.
