Prop Governor and IO 540 C4b5

Any one know if the prop governor from vans has a spacer plate? I purchase one thinking it would fit my C4b5 but the studs are too short. Looks like there is a spacer plate on the gov. After hours at Hartzell so can't ask them.

Just went out and checked on mine (top cowl off). The governor has a 1/4" thick flange and what looks like a 3/8" spacer. I don't recall the spacer separate , it may be secured to the flange. All measurements are approximate.

It has been a while, but I think my studs were to short also. I had the engine rebuilt and they took care of studs for me....

you're right. got looking at them closer today, and all I have to do is replace the studs. thanks for the help.
