Prop bolt corrosion protection

I've got the Sensi fixed pitch with the 4" spacer- 3/8 bolts about 8.5" long. Steve Arnold had corrosion problems with his. Mine are new, cad plated- would it be ok to add some type of corrosion protection in addition to the cad plating? Galvanize spray? Would that type of zinc coating cause any other problems?

I have same set-up. The prop bolts have to be torqued dry. It would be hard not to get any type of lubricant on the thread. I have had the bolts in and out for prop clocking purposes several times in the last two years at the hangar. Plated like yours and no corrosion was evident. My hangar is only several hundred yards from the Gulf of Mexico. Hope this helps.
