Priming Rivet Lines on Folded Skins

Alex

I'm priming the rivet lines on my skins, using the blue plastic as a mask. My question is, how do you do that on pre-folded skins such as on the 12's anti-servo tab? There's no way to fit a gun or a can in there without bending it back. I'm inclined to just not prime the skin at all in those cases, but I'm interested in what others have done.

Thanks

On my -6A, I primed the entire interior, not just the rivet lines. On small parts, like the elevator trim tab, it was not difficult to get inside with the spray nozzle. On the -10, I am not priming but I needed to mask and rough up the areas in the elevator tabs so I could pro-seal the foam ribs in; I laid in electrical tape for a mask and got in there with a scotch-brite without unbending the skin; it spreads enough without unbending. I'd say your greatest difficulty will be cutting the blue plastic for a mask; actually priming should be fairly easy.
