Priming/alodyning Hinges?

What are people doing with their hinges (such as the flap hinges) with regards to alodyning or priming (or nothing)? It seems to me they are a bit exposed and could use some protection.

The hinge material is already anodized so just the exposed edges need to be protected. I prime them as usual and wiill paint them when the time comes. Avoid using any lubricant on the hinges or pins until all priming and painting is done.
