I wanted to post about my experience purchasing an RV14A. We all know that buying a plane is a big financial investment. My concern was that the plane I was going to buy was sound, in as much that I wouldn't need to pour money in it from the get go (I'll leave that part for the ongoing Mx!).
Anyway, I can't rave enough about how meticulous the guy who did my pre-buy was. He spent over 6 hours looking at the plane, going through the logbooks, checking the service bullitens had actually been done correctly (not just pencil whipped). Aside from that I made a new friend along the way. Extremely knowledgeable and a real gentleman. Multiple RV owner and A&P.
If anyone needs a recommendation in the east cost area (I know sometimes he will travel further), then PM me and I will be happy to pass on his name.
