So I have been working on installing my door latching bought from http://www.planearound.com/ and ran in to trouble making the new linkages out of the vans stock door pins. I did not seem to have to tools to make them so I called Sean to see how he made his.
Because Sean is great at customer service he sent me some sample pieces he is considering making. The came out GREAT!
The one on the left is his, the one on the right is my 4th attempt at it. Notice his holes are round and have adequate edge distance, my holes are oval and are right on the edge. Also my holes are off center.
I am not sure if Sean is going to sell these, but anyone having trouble making those pieces, drop Sean an email and maybe he will start to manufacture them.
