Posistrobe JP Wiring - Is 20awg, shield, 4-conductor the way to go?

I'm New Here
I’d like to confirm that I am correctly sizing and wiring a Posistrobe JP tail-light in an RV-10. My plan is to use shielded wire and include a ground wire back to the panel — 50ft round trip. The Posistrobe JP spec says that “Average Current Consumption Per Frame for Position and Strobe” is 0.8A. I assume this is my continuous amperage to be used with the chart in AC 43.13 Figure 11-2. If I round this up to 1A, the chart shows this intersecting at 20awg and 50 ft so my plan is to go with 20awg, shielded 4 conductor. I‘ve read posts from others (with different tail lights) going with 18awg and even using a separate 22awg sync wire. I don’t see a need to go with 18awg for 50 feet. And since I’m using 20awg, I don’t get a huge benefit using a 22awg sync wire outside the shield. Does this make sense? Any feedback will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
