I took advantage of Avery's pneumatic squeezer sale and free shipping for april and purchased one of the squeezers. I carefully followed the directions as I assembled the yoke and adjustable set holder. So far, so good. I also followed the directions that said "Lubricate weekly with a good grade of air tool oil into the air inlet". I set a few rivets on some scrap and didn't have any problems.
Now that I have had some time to think about it, I thought that pneumatic squeezers weren't suppose to be lubricated with air tool oil. So I have two questions:
1. Should I be lubricating my pneumatic squeezer with air tool oil?
2. If not, what should I do about my squeezer that already has several drops of oil in it (and has been operated several times)?
