PMag Tach Signal

For the group using the tach signal from a PMAG…. I am pulling the tach signal into my EI Engine Monitor. When I ground the slick, I get the MAG alert and in the logs I see the RPM drop to 0. When I ground the PMAG, I see that the PMAG is still sending a tach signal and no MAG alert.

Just live with it or has anyone come up with a solution for the engine monitor to see the mag grounded?

The tach should run regardless of if the Pmag was grounded or not. That’s how it works with mine.
