Plug wires

Hey gang,

I just finished running my spark plug wires, making up the end assemblies where they connect to the mags, anchoring, etc.

I looked at the way they were done on a warrior and a c150 in the hanger here and used that as a bit of a guideline. I attached the wires to the engine with adel clamps and used zip ties to bundle the wired together, just like Piper and Cessna. Turned out real nice.

I have P-mags, and hadn't noticed the part in the installation manual that says you should space the wires apart from one another using automotive plug wire spacers or something equivalent. Hmmmmm, didn't do that. :(

While I'll likely redo the installation, I'm wondering if the spacing is really that important.

Anyone have any problems with this?

Only if you...

...want to avoid potential cross-fire issues. EIs put out more voltage than mags.

Makes sense

Thanks Larry.

I've redone things. I guess this'll work much better.
Please excuse the wiring mess, it's a work in progress.
