Pitot tube Question

Do I need to use hard hose for the pitot tube or is it okay to use flexible oxygen tube? I am installing pitot in the wing and need to have a disconnect for wing removal.The end of an oxygen tube fits right over 1/4" tubing.

As long as there is a fairly good seal, you can use any type of tubing (plastic or metal)

Stein sells a 1/4" quick release for $2.70 ea. Part # P-511. Really slick. Ron

Thanks! for your replies. I will use the oxygen hose that I have. It has a real nice end that will seal very well and not come off easy. May use the quick connect on other end.
