Panel Tilt on RV-10 AND speed range for AS

Hi guys,

I need to get an AH for the 10 and it seems like it needs to be set to a particular tilt angle.

I have based off the door sill as 0 degrees and panel angle is between 6-7 degrees off the vertical.

Does this sound correct?

And if so do I need to get exactly 6 or 7 degrees for accuracy, or will 8 degree tilt angle work ok.

NOTE: this is for a new RC Allen digital AH.

I am also wanting to know what the AS range should be. I am looking at a TSO'd ASI from UMA.

Which of the following would best suit?

T16-211-240 40-240 Knots 10-03593
T16-211-260 40-260 Knots 10-03595
T16-211-300 40-300 Knots 10-03597

Thanks everyone in advance.

Vne is 230mph so I would go with the 240 kt one. My standby ASI goes to 225kts.

Your panel tilt numbers sound about right. I had to measure that several years ago when I was setting up the remote magnetometer.
