Page 42D-20, which steps?

In literally tying up loose ends, I found that the headset harness was still not connected, and could not find any place that covered.
I think I have finally figured it out! The wording on this page has steps 1-4 listed as D180 wiring kit, and steps 5 and 6 as no D180 kit. Since I was upgrading from the 180 wiring, I crossed out steps 5 and 6. Now I think I misunderstood, and I should have actually used steps 5 and 6. Comments anyone?

If I remember correctly, it means which steps to do for that condition...

I.E., Complete steps 1 - 4 if you have a D-180...
Complete steps 5 and 6 if you don't have a D-180.
