Page 36A-05 Should I prime this part?

Some brackets in the installation kit for the wheel fairings, such as U-00003 and U-00004, have a nice finish which tempts me to believe it's some sort of coating rather than bare aluminum. If it's bare aluminum I need to prime. Does anyone know for sure?
