The 2nd Annual Alternative Engine Fly-In/Drive-In was held in Paducah, KY about two weekends ago. In attendance were four rotaries (one is based at the home field) and three flew up in formation from the Austin, TX area. Two were RV's (a 7A and a"10") and the other was a cool Lancair ES with a peripheral ported 20B (three rotor). A Glasair III also flew in with an Chevy LS-1 and that rounded out the "alternative" engine crowd until a Long Easy and RV-7A with Lycosaurus's showed up. All in all it was a fun time again; but I hope a few of you Subie guys will consider bringing your a/c in next year to compare installations, etc.
